Say hello to Supath, our first intern from University of Kent’s Employability Points Scheme

Arcade are proud to be a partner of University of Kent’s ‘Employability Points Scheme’, a pioneering programme of offering experience of work to students who have participated in co-curricular activities.

Over the summer of 2019, we are excited to be hosting four Kent students from a variety of disciplines, to provide on-the-job experience, boost their CVs and, of course, apply their incredible talents to meeting our real, day-to-day business challenges.

Supath Shrestha, a Computer Sciences graduate, is the first to join us and has spent the past two weeks in our London studio. In his own words:

I am really passionate about creating and designing beautiful and interactive applications. Having always been curious about immersive technology, mainly because of the exciting potential it has and how it can be used in almost every field, I decided to pursue an internship at Arcade

“During my time here, I have been able to grasp and understand the developmental cycle of an Augmented Reality application. In addition, one of the many key skills I’ve learnt during my time here is UI/UX design. I loved the whole process, from low-fidelity wireframing to creating functioning prototypes with seamless user experience. Being exposed to design tools like Adobe XD and Sketch was also a big plus as it has further sparked my interest in this field.

Overall, my time at Arcade has been extremely fruitful as I had the opportunity to contribute and collaborate in exciting projects all the while meeting some of the brightest minds in the industry.

After his time at Arcade, Supath plans to explore further work experiences in the immersive tech space, and can be contacted at Thanks for a great couple of weeks, Supath, and all the best for the future!
